Set your phone on the dock and it begins charging on contact, automatically shifting to speakerphone mode. Pick your phone up from the dock while on speakerphone and the audio switches back to the earpiece.8
HP webOS combines your messaging conversations with one person in the same view. Which means you can start chatting in, say, AIM, and then pick up the conversation later in Google Talk™ or even as a text message.5
With webOS, you only have to think about what to say—not where to say it.

Testing consisted of performing each of the following tasks: Internet browsing using Wi-Fi, music playback, and video playback. Display brightness at default setting. Display power off time-out was set to 10 minutes (5 minute dim), ambient light sensor off, Wi-Fi was associated with a network during browsing tests, display and all radios were off during music playback, and all radios were off during video playback. Music and video playback testing utilized utilised Qualcomm-supplied music and video files stored on the device and audio output was through headphones. Standby and usage times are approximate and depend on the network configuration, the usage pattern of an individual user, and the configuration of the handheld. Use of some internal wireless capabilities and backlight will significantly decrease battery run time. Battery tests were conducted on specific TouchPad units; actual results may vary.
6. The webOS print solution will support all network-capable HP printers that support PCL page description language in the local LAN. These printers include new HP ePrint-capable printers—Photosmart, Officejet, and LaserJet—as well as legacy printers approximately 5 years old or newer. ePrint requires an Internet connection to the printer.
