The HP webOS platform supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and protocols like SMTP/POP3 and IMAP4, so it integrates with existing email systems without the need for additional software or hardware. Set up email, contacts, and calendars one time and they’re automatically kept up to date.2
In addition, enterprise-ready Wi-Fi3 and VPN help you have access to data and services behind your company's firewall. You can also access your company's Global Address List to search for a contact's phone number or corporate email address.
Protect remotely.
With powerful security policies, administrators can prevent unauthorized use of any TouchPad. Start by requiring alphanumeric passwords of a specific complexity or length. Set the number of failed password attempts-after which data is erased. And remotely wipe lost or stolen devices.
Connect securely.
HP webOS helps protect data while allowing authorized users to access information they need. With Cisco AnyConnect and IPsec VPN support, you can access files behind your company's firewall. Enjoy safer browsing and more secure Exchange email access with 128-bit encryption and SSL. And help ensure data security over Wi-Fi network connections3 with support for WEP/WPA/WPA2 and authentication protocols.
Manage wirelessly.
TouchPad stays current with over-the-air software updates, making management easier for IT. All webOS devices can be backed up automatically and you can remotely erase a TouchPad if it's ever lost or stolen. Restoring data on a new device is fast and simple-and done completely over the air.7
HP is collaborating with third-party partners for new ways to distribute apps, ensure compliance and configure devices, so managing TouchPad is as hassle-free as can be.4
