Karen Pile is an experienced business and technology leader on the international platform incorporating 11 years market research expertise at A C Nielsen, 17 years consulting at Omnicom Inc and academic experience at Oxford Brookes University where she focused on Knowledge Value capture. She joined the UK DTI (now BERR) in 2005 to direct a major efficiency change programme that established the DTI Response Centre handling voice, electronic and white mail communications. In July 2006 she was appointed Director of Information Strategy and Services.
Karen believes passionately that information strategy and services provide the business transformation tools needed to deliver critical advantage to all professional organisations, and that this requires evangelical leadership and involvement with all disciplines to ensure that it moves from concept to pragmatic everyday use. |
