Andy Orsmond is a labor and employment and commercial litigation lawyer at Foley Hoag LLP. He is also a member of Foley Hoag's Security and Privacy Practice Group, where he advises clients on investigations and litigation arising from information security breaches as well as compliance with state and federal information security and privacy laws. Prior to practicing law, Andy served for 10 years as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Marine Corps. His intelligence community experience included planning and directing collection, analysis, and counterintelligence operations at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. He uses his litigation and intelligence community experience to help clients prepare for and prevail in a broad range of e-discovery and information security-related disputes.
